World Trade Week 100th Anniversary

Yesterday, we were honored to sponsor and attend the World Trade Week 100th Anniversary event, hosted by the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce. A milestone event that unites leaders shaping the future of global trade and logistics in our region.

Congratulations to the recipients of the outstanding leadership and achievement awards. Julie Anne Hennessy was honored with the Stanley T. Olafson Award, and the ILWU received the Bob Kleist Leadership Award, with Alan McCorkle. President and CEO of Yusen Terminals, having the honor to present the award to the ILWU. Congratulations to both recipients for their significant contributions to our industry.

A big thank you to the YTI guests and colleagues who joined us— Dave Wear, Tara Voss, Michele Grubbs, Jacqueline Michelle Moore, Hyun Jung (HJ) Yoon, Sandra Grujić, MBA, CPA, Erik Crichton and Tiffany Sims —your participation helped make the day special. We also have to give a shout-out to the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce team—Stephanie Mireles, Anthony Lei and Pat Clark, for their seamless planning and unwavering support of YTI and our partners.

We are grateful to be at the heart of goods movement in the Port of Los Angeles for the last 35 years and are inspired by the enduring impact trade has on the Greater Southern California Region.
