What We Do
- The terminal awakens as labor arrives and ship-to-shore cranes are positioned for action
- The terminal gates open for receiving and delivering cargo by 0700hrs
- Transit of a container starts with unloading from the vessel by ship-to-shore cranes
- Container is then handed off to a utility tractor that positions the container for storage in the yard
- If for local customer delivery, container is loaded via Rubber Tire Gantry to the outside truck driver who will deliver to the customer
- Container can also be loaded on train for multiple destinations throughout the U.S.
- Empty container is returned to Yusen Terminals LLC to be loaded on the vessel
