It was an honor to host the regional maritime cybersecurity discussion at YTI, where the focus was on port and operational technology environments.
This event was organized in collaboration with Maritime Hacking Village, and brought together leaders from across the region. The session included CISOs and cybersecurity professionals from:
- Port of San Diego
- Port of Long Beach
- Port of Los Angeles
- Port of Hueneme
- United States Coast Guard Auxiliary

The conversation reinforced something we collectively recognize: cybersecurity in the maritime domain is a shared responsibility. Operational technology, navigation systems, and port infrastructure cross organizational and jurisdictional boundaries—and effective defense depends on coordination, trust, and information sharing across all stakeholders.
Thank you to Maritime Hacking Village and all participants for the thoughtful discussion and continued partnership in strengthening the resilience of our maritime and port communities.
