On January 22, 2026, the Pacific Merchant Shipping Association (PMSA) partnered with the Port of Los Angeles to host the 11th Annual State of the Port of Los Angeles. Welcoming more than 920 attendees in a record-breaking year at a new venue, AltaSea, the sold-out luncheon brought together the maritime industry leaders, local leaders, and community stakeholders for one of the region’s most anticipated trade and logistics gatherings of the year.
We were honored to sponsor and attend the 11th Annual PMSA and Port of Los Angeles State of the Port last week. The event provided valuable insights and featured compelling visuals outlining the exciting projects and future developments.

It was a successful event, hosted by the Pacific Merchant Shipping Association at AltaSea at the Port of Los Angeles. The PMSA team (Natasha Villa & Michele Grubbs) did a fantastic job achieving record breaking attendance, with all proceeds of the event benefiting EXP – The opportunity engine and Toberman Neighborhood Center, Inc.
Yusen Terminals was also proud to be recognized by the Port of Los Angeles with the Guardian of the Harbor Award.
