2025 State of the Port of Los Angeles

Yusen Terminals was honored to attend the 2025 State of the Port of Los Angeles, where Port Executive Director Gene Seroka shared the Port’s vision and priorities for the year ahead under the theme of People, Planet, and Performance. The discussion emphasized sustainability, workforce development, and advancing cargo handling efficiency, key areas that align closely with our mission at YTI.

As a proud sponsor, we hosted two tables at the event and were delighted to welcome our customers, ONE, HMM, and Yang Ming Line, alongside members of the YTI team. In addition, we were excited to donate our exhibit tables to the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Los Angeles Harbor, supporting their vital mission to inspire and empower local youth.

All proceeds from the event benefited two impactful local nonprofits: EXP, which focuses on next-generation maritime workforce development, and the International Seafarers Center, providing essential resources for merchant seamen calling at the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach.

It was a privilege to stand alongside community partners, customers, and colleagues in supporting the future of our industry and our region. At Yusen Terminals, we remain committed to advancing sustainability, empowering the workforce, and contributing to community growth.
