Appointment Exemptions

Empty exemptions are only allowed when performing a Dual MTY-in/Dry Import pick-up transaction for respective lines that are open for receiving. This exemption feature is valid on both day and night shifts. (Customers will not be allowed to cancel the import appointment and maintain the MTY- in move).

Terminal Schedules

To ease/support an add additional flexibility, YTI will continue to provide the following exemptions:

  • Empty is exempt from an appointment on dual import pick-up transactions.

For dry Import dual transactions, please adhere to all the following before arriving to the terminal:

  1. Verify YTI/Steamship line is receiving the line/size/type of empty (posted on the Terminal Schedules page)
  2. Book valid import appointment.
  3. Please arrive within import appointment window
  4. Please provide the import appointment number at the speaker.
